Happy New Year / Decade to all!
(Yes, I know it's nearly 3 weeks in already)

Ok, so here's the deal ...

So many project ideas, so little time, something has to go. The New Year shall see no more false promises (that's not a false promise, honest). Instead, I will be taking a realistic look at what I can actually achieve in order to get some proper content up on this site, without getting side-tracked with small meaningless projects or starting a huge project that is just far too much for one person to complete, especially with limited time.

First of all, I will be taking a good look at each of the projects to see if they help me fulfil either of the main goals of this business, which are ...

To either:

1 ... develop a personal portfolio showing my skills as a games developer, to show to potential employers so I can get a full-time job or contract work ...

or

2 ... create indie games that I can digitally distribute so I can make a living from my own projects.

If any of my current projects can't help me towards either of these goals then they will be scrapped. Some ideas could maybe get recycled at a later date if they become useful in attaining these end goals.

A new project will be started to create a technical demo that can be used to show of my skills, and could be used as the basis of creating an indie game (or games). This way I am focussing on one project while not cutting of either avenue, which I feel will best maximise the use of what little time I currently have to spend on my own work.

That's it for now. I will be updating the news as and when I have something to update it with. Most likely, the next post will be detailing what is going, what is staying, and what is being put on hold ...
